Children
Children are a cherished part of the Good Hope family. We strive to serve them and let them serve others through a number of programs.
To ensure the safety of all of our children, all leaders & volunteers working with children & teens have gone through an online background check
Sunday School
Sunday School provides instruction in the Christian faith from caring and involved teachers. Children are taught God’s story of redemption from Genesis through Revelation. An age appropriate curriculum, including stories, songs, games, and worksheets help children better grasp Christ’s love. Join us Sunday at 9:15 am.
Nursery Ministry
Nursery Ministry provides safe, secure, and loving childcare during Sunday School and worship. During Sunday school, infants are cared for while toddlers and preschoolers receive an age-appropriate Bible lesson. During morning worship, child care for infants through 3 years old is provided.
Children’s Church
The goal of Children’s Church is to help children worship and to prepare them for participation in worship. Children ages 4-8 are dismissed to Children’s Church prior to the Sermon. Families are always welcome to keep their children in the worship service, if preferred. Whatever works best for your family works for us!
Vacation Bible School
VBS is a high energy week with crafts, games, snacks, songs, and more. The good news of the Gospel is woven into the stories presented each day.
Children’s Christmas Play
A cherished Christmas tradition at Good Hope! The children recount the nativity story through story and music. Church members support the children through making costumes, building sets, erecting the stage, and assisting with sound and lighting. The play is followed by a time of refreshments and fellowship after the big show!
